This role will manage a large finance team of approximately 80 professionals, including both Thai and expats staffs. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in strategic financial management, cost analysis, and compliance, coupled with strong leadership capabilities to drive financial efficiency and develop local talents.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Planning:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans for all geographical markets, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Perform continuous scenario analysis and stress-testing of financial plans, adapting strategies in response to market fluctuations.

Standardization and Compliance:

  • Oversee the standardization of controlling, local accounting, and financial processing practices across Thailand and Vietnam.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations by supervising accurate and timely tax filings.

Consolidated Planning and Reporting:

  • Lead the consolidated planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes across business units, ensuring adherence to financial procedures and enhancing forecast accuracy.
  • Prepare financial reports in accordance with local business unit requirements, including P&L statements, local tax documents, and balance sheet reports.

Cost Management and Efficiency:

  • Oversee end-to-end cost tracking for manufacturing and supply chain operations, including COGS, conversion costs, and other related matters.
  • Define and monitor finance function measures and metrics to ensure operational efficiency.

Collaboration with Group Functions:

  • Facilitate seamless collaboration with Group Accounting Shared Services by providing accurate and complete data for general ledger maintenance, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and collections.

Leadership Development:

  • Build and nurture a strong internal leadership pipeline, with an emphasis on developing local talent and fostering a high-performing finance team.

Qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Advanced certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) are highly preferred.
  • At least 15+ years of experience in finance and accounting, with a minimum of 10 years in executive or senior-level roles overseeing end-to-end finance operations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, and performance management within manufacturing business units.
  • Extensive knowledge of cost management, COGS analysis, and budget control to drive financial efficiency in production environments.
  • Strong command of IFRS, GAAP, and multi-jurisdictional compliance standards, ensuring alignment with both local and Group requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage large, diverse teams and collaborate across cultural and professional boundaries.
  • Native Thai speaker with good proficiency of English language.
  • Ability to work at Samut Sakhon plant
